Defining a simulation

In order to define a simulation, a number of items must be addressed. These include:

  1. Geometries must be modeled
  2. The computational domain must be defined
  3. Materials must be modeled
  4. Sources must be defined
  5. Simulation parameters must be set

Once these items are addressed, the time-domain Maxwell's equations can be solved using the finite-difference time-domain method by running FDTD++.
