Tutorial: Visualizing the electromagnetic fields with VisIt

1. Start VisIt
2. In the Sources panel, click Open. Select multimesh.#.silo.
3. In the Plots panel, click Add $\rightarrow$ Pseudocolor \rightarrow E2.
4. Ensure that E2 is selected in the Plots window, and click Operators $\rightarrow$ Slicing $\rightarrow$ Slice (also in the Plots panel).
5. Click the dropdown arrow next to E2 in the Plots window, and double click on Slice. This should activate the Slice operator attributes dialogue.
6. On the Slice operator attributes dialogue deselect Project to 2D. In Origin, click the Point button, and in the Intercept text box, enter 40.0e-9 40.0e-9 40.0e-9. Click Apply.
7. On the Plots panel, click Draw.
